The Aja Ki Pro Mini Compact Field Recorder adds extreme portability to the Ki Pro family. Bringing a file-based workflow to any production to be edited on Final Cut Pro, this miniature field recorder not only records edit-ready Apple ProRes footage from any SDI or HDMI video camera, it does so on easily available Compact Flash cards. Its small form factor allows it to be mounted on a tripod or camera with industry-standard adapters, while its powerful support of both SD and HD recording--via both SDI and HDMI--makes it an invaluable tool for on-set digital capture.

Universal V-Mount connection
The A-E2KPm from IDX is a rugged V-Mount chassis and mounting adaptor for the AJA Ki Pro Mini flash disk recorder. With the Ki Pro Mini’s HD/SD recording options, it is ideally suited for production with a variety of today’s ENG camera systems. Attaching directly to the camera V-Mount, the A-E2KPm allows IDX ENDURA 12V Lithium Ion V-Mount batteries to provide power for both the Ki Pro Mini and the camera. In a stand-alone configuration, IDX ENDURA batteries supply ample power for the AJA disk recorder.

Integral P-V2 universal plate allows direct attachment of 12V V-Mount Lithium Ion batteries to power the Ki Pro Mini and camera simultaneously. The 2-Pin D-Tap output is available to power additional equipment such as an on-board camera light or other accessory.
Hinged top hood offers protection for the recorder’s LCD panel and flash card media slots; enables the cards to be swapped out without removing the Ki Pro Mini or the A-E2KPm from the camera.
A-E2KPm housing provides clear access to the Ki Pro Mini’s control panel and input/output connectors.
Integrated 4-Pin XLR power cable for connection into an industry standard XLR power terminal at the bottom base of the Ki Pro Mini.
Simple and secure fitting of the Ki Pro Mini to A-E2KPm uses just four (4) screws (supplied adaptor accessory).
